Lake Powell Window
The Lake Powell Window opens up and we're there to nail stripers feeding on shallow banks and suspended over medium depth basins. Expert angler Tsunami and I put a hurtin' on 'em tallying 88 fish in one day. It's days like these I thank the Colbran mafia, who gave me the Lake Powell Master Class. It literally turned my long weekend trips that totalled up to 400.00 for 8 fish, into trips that payed for the fish! 4.00 a pound instead of 40.00!
Lake Powell is in Utah in the Glen Canyon National Recreation area and is an incredible boating and bass fishing mecca. Follow my Colorado fishing reports in September to find out what's really going on in Powell!
